Sustainability, our only way of creating
In Thelamont we are aware of the impacts of our fabric choices on a whole process from the cultivation, production, distribution, consumer laundering, and final disposal. Our mission is to use the eco-friendliest materials and practices we have to create our collections with the minimum impact on the Earth.

We dream of a world without landfills!
Every year millions of garments are thrown away and sent to landfills. Many of these (polyester, nylon, acrylic, etc) take hundreds of years to decompose and we are allowing that to happen.
This is why another of our main missions is to rescue garments or materials that have been disposed so they don’t end up in landfills and we can remake them and give them a second life. In past collections, we have already remade used kimonos into new garments like these pants on the left!
RECYCLED FABRICS & YARNS
We have worked with recycled cotton yarns in the past and are planning to add new sources of recycled fibers to our future collections! Fabrics made from recycled cotton, recycled PET bottles, recycled polyester and whatever technology let us recycle!
In nowadays’ fashion industry and daily life, too much trash is produced and sent to landfills or incinerators, being a total waste of resources and polluting the Earth. In Thelamont we want to change that. This is why we we keep all the fabric waste for reusing in future collections as patchworked fabrics and label making ♡
ECO DYES & PRINTS
Our dyes & prints are all toxic-free!
Our pure organic cotton isn’t bleached nor dyed, it’s all 100% natural!
And in the case of recycled yarns or fabrics, we only buy azo-free certified colored fibers.
As for our prints, they are made by sustainable water-based rubber inks which have been certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
All our packaging is made of plants!
Say no to the Super Pollutor Plastic! Our tags, threads, wrapping and shipping goods are made of eco-friendly materials like recycled washi paper and compostable compositions.
